Project Description
World Geography classes at Converse Middle School, Palmer, MA, USA are  involved in a project called "Country Fair." This project requires each student to select a country to research, write a research paper, and create a presentation to display to community in a Country Fair type setting. Topics include their chosen country's land, culture, food, history, etc.

  • A lot of teachers and their students  from all over the world took part in the project. There were 98 classrooms in 57 countries.
  • The project was supported by Ilse Shwartz (a German journalist ) who created a special platform where teachers  exchanged their ideas.
  • The postcard swap helped us to learn each other better

3. Veronika Kulikova presented Ukraine  in the project. At the end of it a great exhibition at Converse Middle School was organised where all participating countries were shown.

So, in February 2010 Antonello and Andrea from Italy flew to Austalia.
In Sydney they met with Stephen (Australia)
They spent a wonderful day together
In March Youssouf (Burkina Faso) travelled to Todd (USA)
In May Stephen (Australia) and his wife Lynette visited Claudia (Germany)
