Country Fair Project: Afghanistan

Marga Flader from VUSAF Education Centre, Germany (VUSAF Education Centre is based in North West Afghanistan. It is funded by a German NGO called Afghanistan-Schulen. Marga Flader is the head of this NGO) sent a PowerPoint Presentation about Afghanistan with the request to help the Afghani children and we sent a parcel there. Marga wrote to us, ".......... I became very happy today because our postman brought me a parcel!!! I opened it and was so glad to see how much effort you and your students put into packing the parcel for the Afghan children. I am leaving for Kabul this Friday. I will not be able to see the students in the North of Afghanistan this time but our friends from Andkhoi are coming to meet me in Kabul and I will give your presents to them and they will distribute them and also pass your cards around.
I also still have some of the epals postcards which I will now also take to Kabul as well as the parcel from Andrea (San Filippo/Italy).
Thank you and your students very much once again. I wish we could spread the word of peace and helping each other around the world even more just like you have done.
