We were glad to exchange parcels with this school but one day got some sad news from there: the fire destroyed the place they live in.
“Hello,
I am not sure if anyone is aware but our township of Gerogery has just been hit by an enormous out of control bushfire. The school still stands but is completely surrounded by burnt our trees and plants. 4 houses were destroyed, 2 of these being children from our school. They have lost everything. All children are fine.The good news is there has been no loss to humans but unfortunately hundreds of animals have perished.
Could you please let everyone know that we are all ok.
